Google searches for the year 2023 reveal India’s culinary curiosities, with the most searched recipes ranging from spicy mango pickle to exotic ‘Sex on the Beach’ cocktails. From festive cheer to global flavours, here are the top 10 dishes that caught the nation’s attention.

  • Method to make mango pickle: Mango occupies the top spot, with the humble ‘Aam Ka Achar’ winning hearts and being discovered across the country. A versatile ingredient, mango pickle adds tangy flavor to various dishes and remains a favorite even in the off-season.

  • Beach Sex Recipe: Securing the second place is a visually appealing and fruity cocktail – Sex on the Beach. A blend of vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice, this cocktail gained popularity for its sweet and tangy taste, and claimed its place in India’s recipe searches.

  • Panchamrit Recipe: A sacred mixture made during auspicious occasions, Panchamrit blends milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar. This drink, offered to the deities during puja, is believed to boost immunity and overall health.
