Know how many stairs you will have to climb to have darshan of Ramlala.

Ayodhya Ram Temple: The grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya has special importance for the followers of Sanatan Dharma. Now less than a month is left for the inauguration of the temple and the consecration of Ramlala. Recently, Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, showed the map of Ram temple, detailing the number of stairs to climb for Lord Shri Ram, direction of entry and exit gates and more.

Number of stairs to climb for darshan of Ramlala:

Champat Rai said that devotees will have to climb 32 stairs to have darshan of Lord Ramlala. After climbing these 32 steps the devotees will reach the main sanctum sanctorum. However, lift arrangements will be available in the western part of the temple for disabled persons.

Entry from East and Exit from South:

Showing the map of the temple, Rai explained that devotees will enter the Ram temple from the east and after having darshan of the Lord, they will be taken to the south side. Additionally, the temple will have 44 different entrances. Temples dedicated to his gurus will also be constructed in the 70 acres of land of Ramlala complex. Besides, temples of Mata Sabari and Ahilyabai will be built. However, this process will start after the construction of the main temple is completed.

Key details about Ayodhya Ram Temple:

  • Spread over 70 acres, this temple will have three floors. The height of each floor will be 20 feet.
  • The temple complex will have temples dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabari and Devi Ahilya.
  • Nearly 70% of the 70-acre land of the temple complex will be covered with lush greenery, including trees more than a century old.
  • Ram temple will be three storeyed, the ground floor work of which has already been completed. Construction work on the first floor is underway and is expected to be completed next year.
