Despite his busy schedule and responsibilities, the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to strictly follow all the rituals leading to him starting the 11-day ritual.

Accepting the detailed and comprehensive process of consecration of the idol of a deity, he mentioned the rules mentioned in the scriptures for fasting before the ritual. Referring to the guidance received from spiritual gurus, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the importance of awakening divine consciousness for yagya and worship of God. “On this holy occasion, I pray at the feet of the Lord… I remember the virtues of the sages and ascetics and pray to the people, who are the form of the Lord, to bless me. According to news agency PTI, officials said the Prime Minister will follow the strict guidelines mentioned in the scriptures related to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
