PM Modi to unveil statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji during Maharashtra tour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Maharashtra on December 4, where he will unveil the statue of famous Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji at the Rajkot Fort in Sindhudurg. Along with this, he will participate in the ‘Navy Day 2023’ celebrations at Sindhudurg, participate in the operational display of Indian Navy ships, submarines, aircraft and special forces at Tarkarli beach.

The ‘Navy Day 2023’ celebration holds special significance as it pays tribute to the maritime legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event is reminiscent of the inspiration drawn from the seal of Shivaji Maharaj, which influences the new naval ensign adopted during the commissioning of the first indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant last year.

Report on Mahua Moitra’s expulsion to be presented in Lok Sabha

The Lok Sabha Ethics Committee report recommending the expulsion of Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra in the cash-for-queries case will be tabled in the lower house of Parliament on Monday, news agency PTI reported. IMD warns of cyclone passing through Andhra coast
