There is no bhajan praising Ram and Sita together in Ayodhya Ram temple, change in the method of worship of Ramlala.

The construction of Ram temple is almost complete and preparations for its consecration are going on. January 22, 2024 will be recorded as a golden day in history and the ceremony will be attended by prominent personalities from across the country. The inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is like a huge celebration for the devotees of Sanatan Dharma.

However, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, had told that in the sanctum sanctorum where baby Ramlala will be kept, there will be no idol of Mother Sita, but only the idol of Ramlala will be installed here. Be like a 5 year old child. In other words, this would be a form of God where He is not married. This is the reason why there will be no idol of Mother Sita there. When Lord Ram and Mother Sita got married, Ram was 27 years old.

But, recently the method of worship of Ramlala has also been changed and now there will be no bhajan praising Ram and Sita together. Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ramlala, told these things to ABP News:

  • Ram will be worshiped in his child form in the Ram temple. Therefore, now the hymn praising Ram and Sita will not be played together.
  • The hymn will now focus on his four brothers, three mothers, Sarju Maiya and Ayodhya Nath.
  • A booklet announcing the changes has been sent to all the priests, including the chief priest of Ramlala.
  • Information about change in worship method was shared on ABP News.
  • Now there will be no hymn praising Ram and Sita together because Ram is not in his child form.

Additionally, a few days ago we got a glimpse of the sanctum sanctorum or sanctum sanctorum of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, as shared by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The sanctum sanctorum will house the infant form of Lord Shri Ram (idol of Shri Ram Lala), and the court of Lord Shri Ram will be on the first floor. The temple is being constructed entirely using Indian traditions and indigenous technologies, with special attention to environmental and water conservation practices.

Apart from this, statues of elephant, lion, Hanuman ji and Garuda have been installed at the entrance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, which have been made using pink sandstone obtained from Bansi Paharpur village of Rajasthan.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ puja will begin at 11:30 am on January 22 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the chief guests from 12:30 pm.
